Sakina Care is a classified-advertising platform — a community bulletin board. Every listing is written and published by the person who posted it, not by us.
Sakina Care does not:
- employ, contract, dispatch, schedule, or supervise any caregiver;
- screen, interview, background-check, or verify the identity, credentials, licensing, work authorization, or qualifications of any person who posts here;
- recommend, match, refer, or place any caregiver with any family, or rank listings by suitability (paid "Sponsored" placement is visibility advertising, clearly labeled, and is never an endorsement);
- handle, hold, or take a percentage of any payment for care;
- provide medical advice or medical, nursing, or home-health services of any kind.
Which means:
- Verification is entirely your responsibility. Before hiring anyone found here — or accepting work from anyone found here — verify identity, references, certifications, and suitability yourself. Our safe-hiring checklist shows you how, step by step, for free.
- Your arrangement is entirely between you. Contracts, wages, hours, taxes, insurance, and compliance with employment law belong to the family and caregiver alone.
- Sakina Care is not a party to anything that happens between people who meet through the site, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no liability for it.
We are not a home care organization, home care agency, nurse registry, employment agency, or domestic referral agency under the law of any state, and nothing on this site should be read as an offer of those services.
If a listing looks dishonest or unsafe, report it. A human reviews every report, usually the same day, and bad listings come down.
